Breaking the Wheel

As the drum begins, I invoke the dragon, Healer. He comes in a flash of deep green light. He starts out large and looming then shrinks down to a small size so we can see each other face to face. I have one simply question. What is the source of my limitations? My plea, help me find the root. The dragon smiles becoming enormous again. He motions for me to climb upon his back. Then with a great flap of his wings we are airborne. We fly, fly, fly in the inky black darkness. As we lose altitude a vast jungle appears below us with a river snaking through. He slides on the water in the river skidding to a halt then sinking under the water half way to swim the last little bit to shore. He lowers his head even to the shore and I walk off not even getting a little wet. My jaguar is already waiting for me. I go to thank the dragon but he is already shrunk himself so small he fits into my pocket. We follow jaguar into the jungle. We come upon a small clearing with a great round stone in the center. I stand in the center of the stone and put my arms out. One turn clockwise another turn counter-clockwise and the bottom falls out. Me and the dragon are free falling down, down, down. We land in a ruinous place with a castle off in the distance. Everything is dead here and the sky is blood red. With the dragon still in my pocket I walk to the castle. The castle door is slightly ajar so we enter. It is beautifully decorated and eerily empty. I wander the empty halls until I come to a staircase going up to a turret. I walk up the spiral staircase into the top room. The room is empty except for a single large cauldron over a fire. A brew simmers in the cauldron. Drink the dragon tells me. One sip and I pass out on the floor. My blue orb self emerges floating to the top of the turret roof. A beam comes sucking me out of that place. I am not sure where I am now. People are screaming and running everywhere. They are not solid and it feels like they are mist but the screaming and the chaos are palpable. Not sure what to do next I invoke the violet flame. Things get a little fuzzy here but at some point, I end up in a place with a great wheel. The wheel is turning trying to suck me into it. I call on Thor’s hammer asking the hammer to help me smash the wheel before it can take me. His hammer flies through the air past me straight into the wheel smashing it once then smashing it again as it returns back to me. Suddenly there is chaos again. Standing still without responding I now have my staff with me. I tap the staff on the ground as I say ‘No More’ several times. As suddenly as the chaos appears, it disappears. I am now a blue orb again, speeding back to my body and the dragon. As I enter my body we fall through the floor and return back to the beginning which is also the end.
